Emergency Oxygen

Emergency oxygen supplies can be of tremendous benefit. There are many instances when having fresh oxygen can be the difference between life and death. This is especially true for households with small children or elderly adults.

Emergency oxygen can save your life during disasters that include chemical or other hazardous particulates permeating the air. A small oxygen tank and a functioning mask can go a long way towards keeping your lungs from being damaged during such an emergency. Having multiple replacement tanks available is also a good idea.

Emergency oxygen can also be used as a means of performing CPR. Again, an oxygen tank combined with a proper mask can be used to pump oxygen into the lungs of a critical patient. This eliminates the need for mouth to mouth contact with a possibly infected patient during a disaster.
